Dafydd Parri - Director & Producer. Founder of Cardinal and Director of some thoroughly gripping and engaging documentaries.
In his work, Dafydd has coolly handled many intensely emotionally charged situations, emerging with enthralling footage. He has chalked up impressive viewing ratings, with series based in fraught locations, such as hospitals, army barracks and an outdoor persist centre.
He's also responsible for S4C's hugely popular youth arts review series, 'Slaymaker'.
Many of his productions have been highly innovative such as 'Y Tri Dimensiwn' - quiz show centred on '3-D Noughts & Crosses', and children's fantasy quiz "Manawydan".
Mike Waudby - Director & Producer. 12 years as a Copywriter and Creative Director for some of London's biggest advertising agencies (DDB, FCB, McCann Erickson, Publicis), and the brains behind highly effective ad campaigns for many huge UK brands (Ford, British Airways, Dulux, Norwich Union, Thomas Cook, BUPA).
Founding Director of 2 very successful independent Production Companies, Elm Road Productions and 'A' Productions, both of which worked in the UK, throughout Europe and as far afield as Hong Kong and Tokyo.
Director/Producer of commercials and corporate productions for many more major brands (Smarties, McDonalds, After Eight, Bristol & West, HP Sauce, Ginsters, Madame Tussaud's, Alton Towers, Settlers, Toyota, Disney).
Mike has also devised and directed commercials and corporate productions for smaller clients, where throwing money at the problem was not the way to solve it.
He's picked up a few gongs, too, (Promax; Gold & Silver, D & AD; Silver, Cannes; Silver, Midsummer Awards; Gold & Bronze, British TV Advertising; Silver, Financial Services Marketing; Silver, EPICA; Gold).
Catrin Roberts - Producer/Production Manager. Enormously experienced, Catrin began her career in the television and video industry as an administrator at a post production house. She subsequently moved to be Production Manager with Criw Byw in Cardiff, producers of the BAFTA award winning Fideo 9 as well as a host of other "youth" programmes and mainstream documentaries. Freelance credits as long as your arm, including "Syth", "Difa", and "4D". Catrin has been Producer/Production Manager of Cardinal's entire output since 1996 and is a director of the company since 2000.
