Cardinal has produced a catalogue of programmes for S4C. Considered to be on the cutting edge of production, our programming has proved very popular with the viewers. With a constant emphasis on innovation and quality, we strive to produce material that is highly informative and entertaining.
Cardinal's first commission in 1993 was MANAWYDAN; a fantasy quiz based on one of the tales of the Mabinogion. Since then, the company has numerous credits under their belt. These include I'R BYW - a straight talking religious show and Y TRI DIMENSIWN - a quiz show combining general knowledge and strategy centred on 3D Nought and crosses.
Our other programming ranges from hospital based "fly on the wall" documentaries - GLAN CLWYD and YSBYTY GWYNEDD; popular culture miscellany - SLAYMAKER, and GWROL RYFELWYR, documenting the lives of some of the soldiers serving with the Royal Welch Fusiliers.
